KOW ISSUES link methodological questions of visual arts with societal topics. They ask for practical and intellectual consequences of artistic policies. We aim at creating accessible project formats in which art helps to profile problems of common interest. Through KOW ISSUES, we commit to progressive change in the vocabulary and tone of the self-descriptions by which communities relate, means are shared and lives are shaped. The project‘s formats relate to intentions and occasions: Exhibitions and essays, lectures and art fairs, interviews and teachings, concerts and screenings, parties and books. Their contributors may come from any background. KOW ISSUES will be continued in addition to the galleries exhibition program in the future. KOW ISSUES come out as booklets when needed to help make things public. You can download them or place an order for a printed version.
